On the farm, life follows the seasons

Fontain - Vache dans étableComté milk is produced on small farms that practise a form of non-intensive agriculture that respects the soil.
The Montbéliarde cow is the main breed that provides the milk for the production of Comté. Their diet consists mainly of fresh grass as they graze during the summer, and then of hay in the barns during the winter season.

The farms presented on this site are, of course, real farms where milk is produced. In order to be sure of the best possible reception, we recommend that you make contact with the farmers in order to reserve your visit.
